Travis Kelce<\/a><\/span>\u00a0has shocked fans with an unexpected appearance at the Chiefs’\u00a0Christmas<\/a><\/span>\u00a0party – when many thought he would be out with birthday girl\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

On the night that the pop superstar was celebrating turning 35, fans were stunned to see a clip emerge of Kelce not with his partner, but instead on work duty.<\/p>\n

In a video posted to Instagram by owner Clark Hunt’s daughter Gracie, the tight end can be seen on stage in a Santa hat while being celebrated for his charity work away from the NFL field.<\/p>\n

Kelce was last week nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, and on Friday night he was once again demonstrating his work in the local\u00a0Kansas<\/a><\/span>\u00a0City community with his appearance at the festive party.<\/p>\n

Dressed all in black, but with a festive red hat to top off his look, Kelce walks to the stage and takes the applause of the crowd while team owner Hunt sings his praises.<\/p>\n

‘He consistently uses his platform for good, so it\u2019s my great honor to recognize Travis Kelce,’ Hunt says.<\/p>\n

‘Since Travis came to Kansas City 12 years ago, he\u2019s established himself as one of the greatest to ever wear the Chiefs jersey, and one of the greatest tight ends to ever play the game.’<\/p>\n

‘But Travis has been equally impressive off the field,’ the owner added, going on to note his work with 87 & Running, and Operation Breakthrough.<\/p>\n

Kelce’s appearance at the Chiefs party set tongues wagging about the location of his girlfriend Swift, who has been in the city doing her own charity work over the past few days.<\/p>\n

Many speculated over whether she might have also attended the Christmas party, after spending time earlier in the week visiting sick children in the local hospital.<\/p>\n

Such is the privacy at the Chiefs’ event, it is unclear whether she was in attendance, or how long Kelce stayed for after his appearance on stage.<\/p>\n

There have been various reports about the tight end going ‘all out’ for Swift’s 35th birthday, after the singer joined him in KC following the end of her Eras Tour.<\/p>\n

According to a report in\u00a0the US Sun<\/a>\u00a0this week, Kelce has spent an eyewatering $175,000 on his girlfriend for her big day.<\/p>\n

Detailing exactly what he’s wrapped up for her, the report claims $155,000 of it is accounted in lavish jewelry.<\/p>\n

The presents include a rose gold 36mm Day-Date Rolex worth $60,350, a Tiffany & Co gold split cuff worth $22,000, and an Elsa Peretti open-heart bracelet that set him back $25,000.<\/p>\n

No birthday would be complete without flowers, and it is claimed that Kelce has spent an incredible $19,325 on a huge assortment, which includes 35 bouquets of roses to celebrate each of her years on planet Earth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
