Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0has opted against spending the end of her birthday weekend in Cleveland, skipping the Chiefs’ road game against the Browns on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Her boyfriend\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0back in his native Ohio\u00a0<\/span>for a rare game against Cleveland, and many had expected Swift to join him for his homecoming.<\/p>\n

In fact, social media was awash with rumors on Sunday morning, with fans speculating that her private jet had landed close by – and even that she had been spotted in a local Starbucks.<\/p>\n

Instead, though, Swift opted to stay away from the game, with confirmation from stadium officials arriving shortly before kickoff.<\/p>\n

In a post on X, AP reporter Tom Withers said: ‘Official word from stadium security is that Taylor Swift is not attending today’s game.’<\/p>\n

Fans quickly took to social media to have their say, with one writing: ‘Taylor Swift will literally do anything for love except attend a\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/span>\u00a0game.’<\/p>\n

Another added: ‘Does taylor swift just hate Cleveland? i mean her boyfriend is from here like show some love to the city.’<\/p>\n

It is currently unclear where the pop superstar is, after she spent time visiting a children’s hospital in Kansas City earlier in the week.<\/p>\n

Kelce made the hospital visit with her on Thursday, and then attended a Chiefs Christmas party event on Friday – the day his girlfriend turned 35.<\/p>\n

Rumors on social media claimed that Swift had a low-key party on Friday night in Kansas City, before Kelce jetted up to Cleveland with his teammates on Saturday.<\/p>\n

So far this season, Swift has only missed one Chiefs home game – and that was due to a clash with the final run of her sold-out Eras Tour show.<\/p>\n

She has yet to take her place in the stands of any Chiefs road games this season, skipping visits to Atlanta, LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Buffalo and Carolina.<\/p>\n

It could well be that the Cruel Summer songstress is just saving herself for another playoff run, with the 12-1 Chiefs hoping to get to yet another Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

During her hospital visit earlier in the week, Swift opened up to one of the children about the stress she felt during last year’s run, which culminated in a triumph in Las Vegas against the San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n

‘I don\u2019t mind Brock Purdy,’ Swift said in video shared by a parent on the ward. ‘He put me through a lot last February but it all went better.’<\/p>\n

‘I like Travis now,’ was the response from the child, before Taylor joked: ‘Me too. That’s an absolute yes on that one.’<\/p>\n
