The\u00a0Baltimore Ravens\u00a0made a decision on Friday.<\/p>\n

The team decided to waive wide receiver Diontae Johnson.<\/p>\n

Johnson’s tenure with the Ravens resulted in just one catch for six yards.<\/p>\n

In March, Johnson was traded from the\u00a0Pittsburgh Steelers\u00a0to the\u00a0Carolina Panthers. Then, the Panthers traded him to the Ravens at the end of October.<\/p>\n

But his time in Baltimore was certainly not what anyone wanted.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of December, Johnson was suspended for one game\u00a0due to conduct detrimental to the team.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Ravens said that it is because Johnson refused to enter the game against the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles. He was sidelined for their\u00a0game against the\u00a0New York Giants<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And now, he has been released.<\/p>\n

Johnson will go on waivers and can be claimed by Monday at 4 p.m. ET. Teams in need of a veteran wide receiver could look to snag him, especially because he has a minimum salary.<\/p>\n
