Richard Gasquet made a bold claim about Novak Djokovic’s chances of winning more Grand Slam titles in 2025. The Serb has won 24 Majors to date in his career<\/p>\n

Djokovic’s Majors include a record ten Australian Open titles, seven Wimbledon titles, four US Open titles, and three French Open titles. Although he did not win a Slam this year, he did secure three out of the four Majors the year before.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old won the Australian Open by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas, won the French Open after a victory over Casper Ruud, and secured the US Open title by defeating Daniil Medvedev in the final. While he reached the final at Wimbledon, he lost the title to Carlos Alcaraz.<\/p>\n

Recently while speaking on the\u00a0Super Moscato Show<\/em>\u00a0on\u00a0RMC<\/em>,\u00a0Richard Gasquet\u00a0was all praises about Novak Djokovic. He said that the Serb, even at the age of 37, still has the capability to win more Grand Slam titles which he said is an “unique” and “incredible” achievement.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s possible that he’ll still win Grand Slams. I don’t know if it’s ever happened, at 37, to be so strong in a sport, to be number 2 or 3 in the world, to say to yourself that he can still win Grand Slams. It’s unique, it’s incredible,” Gasquet said [as quoted by We Love Tennis, translated from French].<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In 2024, Novak Djokovic’s best performance was being the runner-up at the Wimbledon Championships and the Shanghai Masters. He also won the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics by defeating\u00a0Carlos Alcaraz\u00a0in the final.<\/p>\n

Novak Djokovic\u00a0will begin his 2025 season at the Brisbane International. This will be his second appearance at the tournament, with his first participation dating back 16 years ago in 2009, where he lost in the first round to Ernests Gulbis.<\/p>\n

The ATP 250 hard court event in Queensland is scheduled to start on December 30, 2024 and go on till January 6, 2025. The matches will take place at the Queensland Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n

Talking about playing at the Brisbane International, the 24-time Grand Slam champion said:<\/p>\n
