On Friday, Ira Winderman of the Chicago Tribune shared Spoelstra’s words about the lingering situation. The two-time NBA champion coach (who won another title as an assistant) made it clear that the Heat have no plans to let Butler go.<\/p>\n
“That’s just the deal,” Spoelstra said. “You have to compartmentalize in this business. We want Jimmy here. There’s no ifs, ands or buts about it. And it’s just unfortunate that you have to control or deal with a lot of the noise on the outside.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
