The source continued: ‘These engagement rumors started from day one and they do not know how they can even have a public engagement at this point.’<\/p>\n

The well-placed source noted that constant public attention that the couple’s relationship receives has all but ensured that their engagement will be a private one.<\/p>\n

‘Travis is going to have to go above and beyond but it won\u2019t be a public spectacle,’ the source added. ‘They are both aware of the fact that the whole world is so thirsty for them to be engaged and, while Taylor does want a white wedding one day, her friends just feel like people need to chill and let them be a couple.’<\/p>\n
