Travis Kelce<\/a><\/span>‘s\u00a0Kansas<\/a><\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs teammates have treated him to a lavish range of\u00a0Christmas<\/a><\/span>\u00a0gifts worth a staggering $120,000 in a bid to replace some items stolen from his home.<\/p>\n

Kelce’s $6million mansion was raided by thieves back in October, with the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a><\/span>\u00a0winner reportedly losing a number of cherished items.<\/p>\n

That included $100,000 in jewelry, $20,000 in cash, his first Super Bowl jersey\u00a0and a watch that has since been found<\/a><\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0Rhode Island<\/a><\/span>. They reportedly spent less than 15 minutes inside the property.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0FBI<\/a><\/span>\u00a0continues to investigate the case and Kelce, who was said to be ‘upset and angry’ at being robbed, responded by bolstering his home security amid\u00a0an NFL warning that a South American crime gang<\/a><\/span>\u00a0could be behind multiple players being targeted.<\/p>\n

Despite that, Chiefs stars have tried to lift Kelce’s spirits by replacing some of the beloved items stolen with an emotional Christmas gift for the tight end.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/a>, Kelce was handed a box following a team meeting and told to open it straight away.<\/p>\n

‘He opened the box and felt like a kid at Christmas,’ a source said.<\/p>\n

‘They are going straight to his man cave, where he loves to hang out. Those pieces are going be so special for him. Travis couldn’t stop saying thank you to everyone.’<\/p>\n

It’s claimed that ‘everybody contributed’ to the idea and Travis’ older brother Jason even called on his contacts in Philadelphia to get a jersey belonging to Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.<\/p>\n

Kelce’s close friend Patrick Mahomes also donated his own Chiefs jersey for the present.<\/p>\n

Several NFL players have been robbed in recent weeks. Mahomes was targeted on October 6 with Kelce’s property broken into a day later when the pair were playing for the Chiefs against New Orleans Saints.<\/p>\n

Kelce responded to the break-in by upgrading his in-home security system and adding reinforced locks amid an array of sweeping measures.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month,\u00a0Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati home was broken into<\/a><\/span>\u00a0while he was playing for the Bengals in Dallas, around 1,000 miles away.<\/p>\n

The incident sparked further scrutiny when it emerged that the cops were called by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton, who was in the home, even with Burrow believed to be dating Olivia Holzmacher.<\/p>\n

‘I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one, and way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share so that’s all I got to say about that,’ Burrow said.<\/p>\n

Kelce, 35, has not commented publicly on being robbed while Mahomes only gave a brief comment at a Chiefs press conference in November, saying: ‘It’s frustrating, it’s disappointing.<\/p>\n

‘I can’t get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. It’s obviously something you don’t want happening to anybody, but especially yourself.’<\/p>\n

The shocking incident has not put girlfriend Taylor Swift off from staying with Kelce throughout the holidays – one of the busiest times of the year for him and the Chiefs as they pursue a third straight Super Bowl triumph.<\/p>\n

‘She will be going to Kansas City and staying there for some time during the next few weeks to be with Travis and show him love and support,’ a source was quoted as saying by\u00a0The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘She wants to witness another potential championship season for the Chiefs. Travis is the one that now has the busiest schedule of the two of them.<\/p>\n

‘But she is happy they will spend time together, having nice dinners, relaxing, and baking. Christmas will be a special holiday for both of them.’<\/p>\n

Kelce<\/a><\/span>\u00a0is set to miss the Chiefs’ next game and enjoy some downtime with\u00a0Swift<\/a><\/span>\u00a0before his latest\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a><\/span>\u00a0charge, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs have just entered a much-needed mini-bye week after a hectic\u00a0Christmas<\/a><\/span>\u00a0schedule which saw them play three games in the space of 10 days.<\/p>\n

The last of those outings – a 29-10 Christmas Day victory over the Steelers in Pittsburgh – saw them clinch the AFC’s top playoff seed, meaning they will receive a first-round bye and enjoy home advantage throughout the postseason.<\/p>\n

And with nothing left to play for in the regular season, Kelce looks likely to be rested for next weekend’s clash with the\u00a0Denver Broncos<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and head off for a romantic getaway with Swift in\u00a0New York City<\/a><\/span>\u00a0instead.<\/p>\n

Chiefs insider Pete Sweeney hinted as much while on the\u00a0New Day with SSJ podcast<\/a>\u00a0Friday, where he revealed that head coach\u00a0Andy Reid<\/a><\/span>\u00a0is expected to leave out the majority of his key starters for that game.<\/p>\n

‘Andy I believe got done with the [Steelers] game and gave the guys some time to go do what they want to do. A tight end might be going to New York with his girlfriend, a quarterback might be hanging out with his kids. Who knows what everybody else is doing,’ said Sweeney, who has spent over a decade covering the team.<\/p>\n

‘But I think it’s a nice reset for these guys. All these guys will practice next week, but I have a zero percent feel that any starter of any significance will play in this game.’<\/p>\n
