While it always seemed unlikely that Gleyber Torres would return to the Bronx, the\u00a0New York <\/a>Yankees\u00a0will now officially need a new second baseman in 2025.<\/p>\n

On Friday morning,\u00a0New York Post<\/em>\u00a0columnist Jon Heyman\u00a0reported that Torres is signing with the Detroit Tigers. The one-year, $15 million deal was confirmed by\u00a0USA Today\u2019s Bob Nightengale.<\/p>\n
