Before\u00a0Dak Prescott<\/strong>\u00a0ended his season, he pointed out that the one area that has caused the offense to struggle was the lack of a run game. In the offseason, owner\u00a0Jerry Jones<\/strong>\u00a0had chances to fix it, but he brought back\u00a0Ezekiel Elliott<\/strong>\u00a0and did not add anyone significant to his Dallas Cowboys running back room.<\/p>\n

Elliott expressed his excitement when he signed, thrilled to return to the franchise that drafted him, and declared\u00a0he had unfinished business. But fans knew he was not the lead back owing to his drop in form over the past few seasons.<\/p>\n
