As it turns out, the photos were taken from last year&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s festivities when Swift went out partying with her boyfriend,\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0star\u00a0Travis Kelce, and their friends.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Swift and Kelce went for a low-key celebration this year. Several photos of the couple blew up online as they were spotted celebrating with Chiefs star\u00a0quarterback\u00a0Patrick Mahomes\u00a0and his wife Brittany Mahomes.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\">\n<div class=\"m-in-content-ad not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\" data-zone-count=\"3\"><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Swift and Kelce rang in 2025 quite differently, though. The decision reportedly stemmed from the All-Pro tight end&#8217;s work commitments.<\/p>\n<p>According to Page Six&#8217;s source, the couple flew back to Kansas City before New Year&#8217;s Eve because Kelce had to attend the Chiefs&#8217; practice on Dec. 30 and Jan. 1. The nine-time Pro Bowler reportedly also had to tape an episode of his &#8220;New Heights&#8221; podcast with his brother\u00a0Jason Kelce.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-2\">\n<div class=\"m-in-content-ad not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-2\" data-zone-count=\"3\"><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Either way, what is clear is that Swift and Kelce were able to welcome the new year together, albeit in their own private way.<\/p>\n<p>The two-time defending Chiefs are in action on Sunday as they play their last regular season game.
