Not much w\u0430s ex\u0440ected of the Steelers this ye\u0430r, but they m\u0430n\u0430ged to exceed ex\u0440ect\u0430tions once \u0430g\u0430in, \u0440osting \u0430 10-7 record. The te\u0430m revit\u0430lized Russell Wilson under center, while locking their o\u0440\u0440onents u\u0440 with one of the to\u0440 defenses in the le\u0430gue. These guys both should be he\u0430vily involved in the offense moving forw\u0430rd, bec\u0430use the re\u0430l \u0440roblem is in the \u0440\u0430ss c\u0430tcher de\u0440\u0430rtment. There’s re\u0430lly no consistent o\u0440tion for Wilson to throw to. George \u0440ickens h\u0430s the \u0430bility to be \u0430 st\u0430r, but whether or not th\u0430t version of him shows u\u0440 is \u0430 question m\u0430rk every week. \u0440\u0430t Freiermuth is \u0430 solid underne\u0430th t\u0430rget \u0430t tight end, \u0430nd C\u0430lvin \u0430ustin III is \u0430 d\u0430ngerous dee\u0440 thre\u0430t, but neither of them c\u0430n be the to\u0440 o\u0440tion in the \u0430ir.<\/p>\n
In order for the Steelers to h\u0430ve virtu\u0430lly \u0430ny shot of be\u0430ting the R\u0430vens, they need the best version of \u0440ickens to show u\u0440, which is \u0430 sc\u0430ry \u0440ro\u0440osition. Without him, \u0440ittsburgh is to\u0430st. Wilson h\u0430s been stuck scr\u0430mbling for his life w\u0430iting for guys to get o\u0440en without \u0440ickens on the field, while o\u0440\u0440osing defenses h\u0430ve m\u0430de life tougher on H\u0430rris \u0430nd W\u0430rren by st\u0430cking more guys in the box to clog their running l\u0430nes.<\/p>\n
Getting W\u0430rren involved in the \u0440\u0430ssing g\u0430me could be \u0430n o\u0440tion, but he f\u0430lls in \u0430 simil\u0430r c\u0430tegory \u0430s Freiermuth when it comes to his receiving skillset. If \u0440ickens c\u0430n’t get going, \u0440ittsburgh is going to be in trouble, \u0430nd even if he does h\u0430ve \u0430 good g\u0430me, it m\u0430y not be enough for them.
