According to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, the two had already been getting to know each other weeks before she attended his game against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, 2023.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had known each other for close to a month up to that point,\u201d Kelce, 34, shared during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Three days before Swift attended the Chiefs-Bears game, Kelce shared on The Pat McAfee Show that he \u201cthrew the ball in her court\u201d and had invited her to see him play. On Wednesday, he revealed he had already known she would go see him play when he said that on the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt wasn\u2019t just an out-of-the-blue, \u2018Hey, come to the game,\u2019\u201d Kelce said. Since that first appearance, Swift, 34, has attended 12 of Kelce\u2019s games.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It\u2019s been nothing but a wonderful year, man,\u201d he told McAfee.<\/p>\n
Although the attention their relationship has brought him is \u201cbrand new,\u201d he said it\u2019s something he\u2019s having fun with.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, it\u2019s been a crazy, crazy ride that I could have never anticipated,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut I\u2019m having fun with it. The majority of the world is having fun with it, outside all the cranky NFL fans that just don\u2019t want to see the Chiefs win.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rumors of a romance between the two started after the athlete attended the singer\u2019s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium and attempted to give her his number.<\/p>\n
