FRISCO –\u00a0After a dominant regular season, playoff football has arrived for\u00a0Josh Allen\u00a0and his\u00a0Buffalo Bills. … and maybe a new Dak Prescott-level contract is coming as well.<\/p>\n

Allen’s Bills beat the\u00a0Denver Broncos\u00a0in a 31-7 playoff blowout last week. This weekend they play host to the\u00a0Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n

Wins matter most, and the 2024 version of the Bills – which very well could have MVP winner\u00a0Josh Allen\u00a0at the helm – have a lot of those.<\/p>\n

They also have a great chance to finally break through in the postseason, having been to only one AFC Championship game under No. 17’s leadership.<\/p>\n

But there could be something else cooking for the gifted Allen: A contract re-do that would vault him above Dak Prescott of the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys,<\/p>\n

Spotrac is predicting that Allen might be due a new contract that could double his salary. They write, “Allen has four years and $129.5 million remaining on his contract through 2028, a $32.3 million APY. With top QB contracts now nearly doubling this mark, it stands to reason that the Bills could opt to start fresh with a brand new deal for the 28-year-old.”<\/p>\n

In the fall, Prescott’s new deal was forged at $60 million per year. That re-sets the bar for everybody. So Allen and the idea of five years worth $300 million? It adds up …<\/p>\n

And would make Josh Allen the highest-paid player in the history of the sport.<\/p>\n

But first things first. A\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0march is about to begin.<\/p>\n

That is the hope for the Bills and Josh Allen.<\/p>\n
