Nick Kyrgios brutally called out Channel 9’s Tony Jones over his comments on Novak Djokovic by publicly asking “why it is always unathletic people” having a go at the very best athletes.<\/p>\n

As you probably know very well by now, the host was standing in front of Serbian fans on Friday when he said on air that they were chanting, “Novak’s overrated” and that “Novak’s a has-been.”<\/p>\n

After beating Jiri Lehecka on Sunday, the record 10-time Australian Open champion refused to conduct an on-court interview because he was boycotting Channel 9.<\/p>\n

“Djokovic is right. That Channel 9 guy was an absolute tool,” Piers Morgan wrote on X about the incident.<\/p>\n

Kyrgios re-posted Morgan’s comment.<\/p>\n
