The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0are two games away from making\u00a0NFL\u00a0history, as they continue the quest for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title.<\/p>\n

They’ll be matched up against a familiar foe this week in the\u00a0Buffalo Bills, who they’ve met several times in the postseason over the last few years.<\/p>\n

This week’s AFC Championship game is the top order of business for Kansas City, but one of their top stars recently took the time to react to some disparaging remarks from a celebrity.<\/p>\n

“I hate the cheating azz chiefs,”\u00a0rapper Lil Wayne said during Saturday’s game between the Chiefs and the Houston Texans. Several fans – and at one point, broadcaster\u00a0Troy Aikman\u00a0– commented on the amount of penalties called in Kansas City’s favor during the game.<\/p>\n

Star tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0responded to Lil Wayne’s comment on the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast with his older brother Jason.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole world was talking about something else during the game, and I’m sure you saw some of this, but they were complaining about the refs again, Trav,\u201d Jason said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShout out to Tunechi, man,” Kelce said\u00a0with a smile, referencing Wayne’s nickname.<\/p>\n

Several fans complained that officials showed favoritism to the Chiefs during Saturday’s game, a culmination of similar complaints about the Chiefs all season long.<\/p>\n

Kansas City benefitted from a pair of questionable calls in Saturday’s game, including a roughing-the-passer penalty in which pass rusher Will Anderson appeared to lightly touch\u00a0Patrick Mahomes.<\/p>\n

Another play in the second half saw two Texans players collide with one another while trying to tackle Mahomes, only for the players to somehow draw a 15-yard flag for unnecessary roughness.<\/p>\n

Mahomes was also criticized for appearing to flop on a play in which he ran out of bounds, in an attempt to draw a flag for a late hit.<\/p>\n

Despite the issues with how they’ve been able to get there, the Chiefs will play for a chance to get back to the Super Bowl on Sunday.<\/p>\n
