While the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys’\u00a0head coaching search\u00a0continues to dominate headlines and keep fans on edge, a new update has shifted the focus, at least for a moment.<\/p>\n

According to ESPN\u2019s Todd Archer, Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs underwent chondral tissue graft surgery on his left knee this Thursday, a procedure that could sideline him for an extended period\u2014potentially missing parts of training camp, if not longer.<\/p>\n

Diggs suffered the injury in Week 14 against the\u00a0Cincinnati Bengals, and at the time, it was reported that he was expected to miss roughly eight months.<\/p>\n

The latest update on his injury is in line with that initial estimate, so it’s encouraging to hear that the surgery went smoothly.<\/p>\n
