Arsenal\u2019s Leandro Trossard suffered an injury during Belgium\u2019s Nations League loss to Israel.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Mikel Arteta is already dealing with injury issues, as both Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice have withdrawn from England\u2019s latest Nations League team.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Torssard was replaced only 37 minutes into the game, exacerbating the Gunners\u2019 injury headache.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

The north London side faces another challenging international break after losing Riccardo Calafiori and Martin Odegaard in September.<\/p>\n

During the October international break, wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli sustained injuries.<\/p>\n

In November, the Gunners have seen Leandro Trossard hauled off and Ben White poised to miss time, despite not being selected by England.<\/p>\n

Domenico Tedesco, speaking after Belgium\u2019s loss, acknowledged that the Arsenal winger was hauled off due to injury, saying, \u201cIt was a difficult game for a number of reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018We brought out players who had never played or trained together before.<\/p>\n

\u2018There were several injuries prior to the game, and we also lost Trossard and [Zeno] Debast during the game. It wasn\u2019t a good game, but the conditions were extremely challenging.<\/p>\n

Trossard is now expected to join Riccardo Calafiori on the injured list, having not played since Arsenal\u2019s 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in October.<\/p>\n

White, the England full-back, is expected to miss up to eight weeks after undergoing surgery to treat a long-term knee ailment.<\/p>\n

Declan Rice, who is receiving painkillers for a fractured toe, may not return to Arsenal\u2019s starting lineup after the international break. He could face Chelsea.<\/p>\n

And if Arsenal are without Saka, Trossard\u2019s injury will be much more serious, leaving the Gunners with only Raheem Sterling and Martinelli as senior wingers.<\/p>\n

The Gunners have had a mixed start to the season, hindered by both injuries and red cards.<\/p>\n

Arteta\u2019s side has got three red cards thus far, with Rice and Trossard being sent out in draws against Brighton and Manchester City, respectively.<\/p>\n

William Saliba was sent off against Bournemouth as the Gunners lost 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium.<\/p>\n

That has left them fourth in the league, nine points behind leaders Liverpool, who have only lost once this season under new manager Arne Slot.<\/p>\n

And, with injury issues appearing to worsen, Mikel Arteta will need to get his team moving in the right path sooner rather than later if they are to maintain a title threat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
