Randi Mahomes, the mother of\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has shared some worrying family news ahead of the team\u2019s AFC Championship showdown vs. the\u00a0Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are looking to go to their third straight\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0and do themselves one better once they get there, but their QB will be playing with a heavy heart as his grandfather\u2019s health continues to decline.<\/p>\n

Randi, who shared photos of her watching a Chiefs game from her father\u2019s bedside at a hospital earlier in the season, has revealed that he was moved to hospice care.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad is in a hospice and I\u2019m lost for words,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she shared via\u00a0her Instagram Story<\/a>\u00a0on Friday.<\/p>\n
