Four-time MLB All-Star\u00a0Juan Soto<\/a>\u00a0signed a historic\u00a015 year, $765 million contract with the\u00a0New York Mets<\/a>\u00a0this offseason. Spending one season with the\u00a0New York Yankees<\/a>, Soto helped lead the iconic American League franchise to its 41st World Series appearance.<\/p>\n

A 2024 American League All-Star, Soto finished third in MVP voting behind\u00a0Kansas City Royals<\/a>\u00a0shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and his now ex-teammate\u00a0Aaron Judge<\/a>, who won the award\u00a0unanimously. Owning a career 160 OPS+ that ranks third among active players, Soto is one of MLB’s very\u00a0best hitters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Soto is no longer a Yankee, the 26-year-old slugger appears to still have a connection with at least one of his former teammates.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Soto made an Instagram comment under a\u00a0post<\/a>\u00a0from Yankees relief pitcher Luke Weaver. Reacting to a video of Weaver’s offseason bullpen work, Soto kept his message to one word.<\/p>\n
