On Thursday night, the NFL Honors were held and the league’s most prestigious awards were handed out to the winners.<\/p>\n

For the Baltimore Ravens in particular, Lamar Jackson fell short of the MVP — as Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen took home the honor — and both Jackson and Derrick Henry lost out on Offensive Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

The two aforementioned Ravens players might not have taken home a major award, but their remarkable 2024 season together can’t be taken away.<\/p>\n

They made NFL history as Henry surpassed 2,000 rushing yards, with the playoffs included, as Jackson surpassed 1,000 rushing yards.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, those two keep the offense pushing. They are the engine of one of the most star-studded offenses and rushing attacks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How the Ravens put together the rest of their roster while navigating limited salary cap flexibility will be interesting, and trades will almost certainly be made.<\/p>\n

For Henry, though, his job is safe in Baltimore. Not only is that the case, but he recently made a bold career statement when talking to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.<\/p>\n

The statement was short and, evidently, quite blunt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to retire a Raven,” Henry told Russini.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
