Before the 2022 season, the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0traded wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the\u00a0Miami Dolphins\u00a0in exchange for five draft picks. Hill was dealt by the Chiefs after he requested a trade, and almost three years since the deal, it seems as if he perhaps made the wrong decision by leaving Kansas City.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old recently admitted that he \u201calways\u201d thinks about whether or not he should have departed Kansas City with the Chiefs set to take on the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0in the Super Bowl on Sunday. He did add, however, that he\u2019s in a \u201cblessed\u201d situation with the Dolphins.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlways,\u201d Hill\u00a0said\u00a0of whether he ever second-guesses the decision to leave K.C.\u00a0\u201cYou always have thoughts like that. I mean, I\u2019m human. So at the end of the day, you\u2019re always thinking in the back of your head like, man, did I make the right decision? But at the same time, though, the way I was raised, I\u2019m always thinking what God has planned for me in the future. And I\u2019m blessed with what I got. I\u2019m blessed with the situation God has put me in.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Chiefs have easily been the most successful franchise in the NFL since they traded Hill to the Dolphins. Kansas City has won the last two Super Bowls, with its victories coming over the Eagles and\u00a0San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n

Additionally, with a win over Philadelphia on Sunday, Kansas City can achieve something not even the Tom Brady-led\u00a0New England Patriots\u00a0did. The Chiefs can become the first team in the history of the league to win three Super Bowls consecutively.<\/p>\n

As the Chiefs have run roughshod over the rest of the league in recent seasons, the Dolphins have underperformed in that time considering their talent level. Miami hasn\u2019t won a single playoff game since acquiring Hill and is fresh off its least successful season in some time.<\/p>\n

For the first time since all the way back in the 2019 campaign, Miami finished the 2024 season with more losses than wins. The Dolphins ended up with a record of 8-9, which was the second-best in the AFC East division behind the\u00a0Buffalo Bills\u00a0but still not enough for a playoff spot.<\/p>\n

To add insult to injury for Hill, he certainly didn\u2019t play at his best in his third season as a Dolphin. He finished the campaign with 959 receiving yards, which isn\u2019t a very impressive mark by his standards. In the 2023 season, he led the entire NFL in receiving yards with an unbelievable 1,799 in total.<\/p>\n

Despite his comments about his Chiefs exit, he recently explained that he\u2019s committed to the Dolphins, so he and the team will look to take a step forward next season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
