Just days after watching the rival\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u00a0hoist the Lombardi Trophy after trouncing the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a040-22 in the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>, fans of the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0have received some timely news of their own to celebrate.<\/p>\n

After\u00a0quarterback<\/a> Dak Prescott went down with a season-ending hamstring injury in Week 9 that required surgery, it sounds like things have gone as well as they could based on recent comments from Dallas’ QB1.<\/p>\n

While this is by no means on the level of what Eagles fans will be celebrating well into Friday’s parade, it’s the type of health update most fans would be delighted to hear directly from their starting QB.<\/p>\n

Prescott had the surgery done back on November 13 and since the timetable for recovery was estimated to be three months, an official update was due after offering up a\u00a0surprisingly great update<\/a> to sideline reporter Melissa Stark in late December:<\/p>\n
