Kadarius Toney\u00a0has been arrested on serious accusations following an incident involving a woman.<\/p>\n

The two-time\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0champion was apprehended last week, with TMZ having obtained documents noting that he allegedly put his hand around a woman\u2019s throat during a dispute at a house in Georgia on January 14.<\/p>\n

The outlet adds that he squeezed\u00a0\u201cwith enough force to cause her to be unable to breathe.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

According to the documents, the attack left the woman nursing red marks on her neck and petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes.<\/p>\n

Kadarius Toney Allegedly Stopped The Woman From Calling 911<\/h2>\n

Toney is also accused of taking the woman\u2019s phone to prevent her from calling the police.<\/p>\n

Warrants were issued in his name on January 15. Per jail records obtained by\u00a0TMZ, he was\u00a0\u201cthrown behind bars\u201d<\/em>\u00a0at a facility in Douglas County on February 6. The wide receiver is understood to be facing a charge of aggravated assault for strangulation and another charge of obstructing 911 calls. A bond of $25,000 was set for each count.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve reached out to Toney for comment on the situation \u2026 though, so far, we\u2019ve not heard back,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the outlet disclosed.<\/p>\n

Toney was a first-round pick for the\u00a0New York Giants\u00a0out of Florida in 2021. He won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs and spent last season with the\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/a>, playing three games before he was released in December.<\/p>\n
