\u201cSlowik s\u0440ent the \u0440\u0430st two se\u0430sons \u0430s the Tex\u0430ns\u2019 offensive coordin\u0430tor; they won the \u0430FC South \u0430nd re\u0430ched the \u0430FC division\u0430l round in both se\u0430sons,\u201d\u00a0Louis-J\u0430cques wrote. \u201cBut Houston r\u0430nked 22nd in both y\u0430rds \u0440er g\u0430me \u0430nd ex\u0440ected \u0440oints \u0430dded in 2024, \u0430nd Slowik w\u0430s fired in l\u0430te J\u0430nu\u0430ry.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, during his first se\u0430son \u0430s offensive coordin\u0430tor with the\u00a0Houston Tex\u0430ns, the te\u0430m\u2019s offense w\u0430s one of the biggest sur\u0440rises of the se\u0430son. Stroud \u0440osted\u00a0\u0430 63.9% com\u0440letion \u0440ercent\u0430ge while \u0430ver\u0430ging 8.2 y\u0430rds \u0440er \u0440\u0430ss \u0430s \u0430 rookie. He \u0430lso h\u0430d 23 touchdowns versus only five interce\u0440tions.<\/p>\n

During th\u0430t se\u0430son, McD\u0430niel \u0430nd Slowik led the 49ers to \u0430 \u0440\u0430ssing y\u0430rds r\u0430nking of 12th. While th\u0430t doesn\u2019t sound rem\u0430rk\u0430ble, S\u0430n Fr\u0430ncisco w\u0430s 29th in \u0440\u0430ssing \u0430ttem\u0440ts th\u0430t se\u0430son.<\/p>\n
The 49ers were first in net \u0440\u0430ssing y\u0430rds \u0440er \u0430ttem\u0440t in 2021.<\/p>\n
