It\u2019s safe to say Michael Irvin is skeptical of Jerry Jones and the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0hiring Brian Schottenheimer\u00a0as the franchise\u2019s next head coach.<\/p>\n

As the Philadelphia Eagles celebrate their second Lombardi Trophy since the Dallas Cowboys\u2019 most recent Super Bowl appearance 29 years ago, Irvin doesn\u2019t sound like he\u2019s optimistic that the Cowboys will be coming close to a Super Bowl anytime soon.<\/p>\n

Shortly after Jones and the Cowboys hired Schottenheimer, Irvin sounded extremely skeptical that it is going to work out for Dallas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are great odds against Brian Schottenheimer turning around the Cowboys in a great way,\u201d\u00a0Irvin told TMZ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cYou start thinking maybe God is doing something our meager minds can\u2019t really consume. \u2026 If he takes a great and then produces something great, you\u2019ll say the man did it. But when he takes a Brian Schottenheimer, the least likely of them all, and then he gives him that position, and he does something great, you yourself will say it must\u2019ve been God. Because we damn well know it wasn\u2019t Brian Schottenheimer.\u201d<\/p>\n
