The\u00a0NFL\u00a0has made a surprising decision on Jalen Carter following the DT\u2019s violent hit on Patrick Mahomes during\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0LIX last Sunday.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0star knocked the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0quarterback to the ground, shoving him in the helmet after he was stripped of the football in the fourth quarter. The Eagles recovered the ball and were allowed to take their defense off the field, as no penalty was called.<\/p>\n

The NFL has since reviewed the play and\u00a0decided against fining Carter. However, his teammate Milton Williams has been\u00a0fined\u00a0$14,069\u00a0for dunking the ball over the crossbar after making the strip sack on Mahomes.<\/p>\n

Williams will have no qualms over forking over the amount as he\u2019s now a Super Bowl champion. The defensive lineman will likely be in for a huge contract in the offseason, given that he\u2019s set to become a free agent later this year.<\/p>\n

He is sure to attract plenty of suitors after an impressive campaign in which he registered 24 total tackles, five sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup.<\/p>\n

Carter will be even happier, having avoided a fine himself while winning in the pros in just his second year after capturing two National Titles at Georgia.<\/p>\n
