Despite this somewhat sluggish beginning, the organization seem to be staying positive and\u00a0committed to its current roster. However, it does not take long for things to change in the\u00a0NBA.<\/p>\n<p>One player whose future is clouded in uncertainty is\u00a0Jimmy Butler. One would imagine that at some point this season, they will have to at the very least explore trade options.<\/p>\n<p>Amid all this, a three-team trade involving the Heat,\u00a0Golden State Warriors, and\u00a0Toronto Raptors\u00a0has been proposed.<\/p>\n<p>In the\u00a0Bleacher Report\u00a0article &#8216;1 Trade Every NBA Team Should Propose Right Now&#8217;, Dan Favale suggested one that would see the Heat receive\u00a0Jonathan Kuminga, De&#8217;Anthony Melton, Andrew Wiggins, Golden State&#8217;s 2025 first-round pick, 2026 first-round swap (via Golden State), Golden State&#8217;s 2027 first-round pick, Atlanta&#8217;s 2028 second-round pick and Golden State&#8217;s 2030 first-round pick (protected Nos. 21 to 30).<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\">\n<div class=\"m-in-content-ad not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\" data-zone-count=\"3\">\n<div class=\"not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c m-in-content-ad is-loaded\">\n<div id=\"ad-in_content-187c43fb8b074d368ae6636f7cf91d75\" data-google-query-id=\"CNzYoK_H6okDFYdVDwIdWYUbnQ\" data-ad-size=\"300x250\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/88059007\/athlonsports.com\/nba\/inside-the-heat_6__container__\"><iframe id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/88059007\/athlonsports.com\/nba\/inside-the-heat_6\" tabindex=\"0\" title=\"3rd party ad content\" name=\"google_ads_iframe_\/88059007\/athlonsports.com\/nba\/inside-the-heat_6\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" aria-label=\"Advertisement\" data-load-complete=\"true\" data-google-container-id=\"7\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The Warriors would receive\u00a0Butler, Bruno Fernando and Josh Richardson while the Raptors would get\u00a0Gary Payton II (into non-taxpayer MLE), Atlanta&#8217;s 2026 second-round pick (via Golden State) and Miami&#8217;s 2031 second-round pick (top-55 protection).<\/p>\n<p>This trade would represent making a calculated shift from their ageing superstar, Butler, who is 35 and prone to injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The trade would align the Heat with their long-term success. On his day, Butler is still their best player.
