The\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0destroyed the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, in the\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0LIX on Feb. 9. While Kansas City Chief tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0kept his initial postgame comments brief, he discussed the brutal defeat on “New Heights” with his brother,\u00a0Jason Kelce<\/a>, three days later.<\/p>\n

The 10-time Pro Bowler also addressed the elephant in the room, whether he’s planning to retire.<\/p>\n

“I know everybody wants to know whether or not I\u2019m playing next year, and right now I\u2019m just kicking everything down the road,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cI\u2019m kicking every can I can down the road.<\/p>\n

“And I\u2019m not making any crazy decisions, but right now the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches, understanding that there\u2019s a lot that goes into this thing.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve played more football than anybody,” he said of making five Super Bowl appearances in seven seasons, “and it\u2019s because the people that are in that building and the fact that we keep going to these AFC championships and these Super Bowls.<\/p>\n

“And that means I\u2019m playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league, and that\u2019s a lot of wear and tear on your body.”<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old has kept a low profile since the Super Bowl. While fans looked forward to a new episode of “New Heights” on Feb. 19, the brothers shared\u00a0disappointing news on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
