Following the NFL Scouting Combine, mock drafts have been following a trend of linking the Dallas Cowboys to a massive wide receiver prospect in the NFL Draft.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

With the\u00a0NFL Scouting Combine\u00a0in the books, the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0are being linked to several top\u00a0NFL Draft\u00a0prospects known for their play-making abilities on both sides of the ball.<\/p>\n

While mock drafts have followed a trend of projecting\u00a0Boise State Broncos\u00a0star Ashton Jeanty to Dallas, that is beginning to shift.<\/p>\n

Nick Harris of the\u00a0Fort Worth Star-Telegram<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>shared updates from the Combine that have the Cowboys with growing ties to\u00a0Arizona Wildcats\u00a0star wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and\u00a0Georgia Bulldogs edge rusher Mykel Williams.<\/p>\n

\u201cA couple of names that continued to pop up in Indianapolis as it pertains to the Cowboys were Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and Georgia defensive end Mykel Williams,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

The trends continue with new mock drafts from The Athletic and ESPN that both projected McMillan to Dallas with the No. 12 overall pick.<\/p>\n

McMillan is a massive 6-foot-5 pass catcher who would provide a serious red zone threat and wide receiver who can compliment CeeDee Lamb.<\/p>\n

Last season, McMillan hauled in 84 catches for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns. He could be exactly what Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense needs.<\/p>\n

The\u00a02025 NFL Draft\u00a0will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with the first round on Thursday, April 24.
