Miami Dolphins<\/span>\u00a0wide receiver\u00a0Tyreek Hill<\/span>\u00a0doesn’t seem to be wanting any suggestions from former NFL pass catcher Antonio Brown any time soon.<\/p>\n

Brown, who played for the\u00a0Pittsburgh Steelers<\/span>\u00a0and won a\u00a0Super Bowl<\/span>\u00a0with the\u00a0Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/span>, recently appeared on comedian Theo Von’s podcast.<\/p>\n

In that episode, he addressed Hill’s decision to leave the\u00a0Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs in the 2022 offseason via a trade demand that saw him go to the Miami Dolphins.<\/p>\n

When asked if it was smart for any player to leave a stronger team in favor of a larger contract, Brown remarked, ‘It’s a bad decision, you just better ask Tyreek Hill.<\/p>\n

Hill has had some of his most successful seasons with the Dolphins, but hasn’t won a title there<\/p>\n

‘Cheetah [Hill’s nickname] should have stayed with Patrick Mahomes going to Super Bowls. It’s not nice in Miami.<\/p>\n

‘You come to Miami after your career for vacation. You don’t want to be there with the party scene and BBL’s. It’s a distraction, man.<\/p>\n

‘You need to play in Kansas City. It’s cold and you can focus on football and you gonna win.’<\/p>\n

Hill, who won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs before his departure, got wind of the comments and responded on X, formerly Twitter. The 31-year-old Hill said, ‘I think I’ll not take his advice he still the goat thoughh.’<\/p>\n

While Hill may have won his only title in Kansas City, he has had the best seasons of his career in Miami.<\/p>\n

After not breaking 1,500 receiving yards once with the Chiefs, Hill put up at least 1,700 yards in his first two seasons with the Dolphins.<\/p>\n

That included 2023 when, despite being without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for a majority of the season, Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and touchdowns (13).<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for him, he has never once tasted success in the playoffs with the Dolphins – losing both games he’s played in.<\/p>\n

Hill’s future in Miami isn’t certain –\u00a0with the wideout previously hinting that he may want a change of scenery<\/span>.<\/p>\n

His contract is set to expire at the end of the 2027 season. The deal does have a potential out in 2026, which would cost the Dolphins $15.5million in dead cap space. He’s set to earn a base salary of $10m with a cap hit of $27.6m after bonuses and restructuring.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
