Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0star\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0is estimated to have a net worth of $52 million, per\u00a0Forbes. In April 2024, the 10-time Pro Bowler signed a contract extension with the Chiefs worth $34.25 million, making him the highest-paid tight end in the\u00a0NFL.<\/p>\n

Kelce, however, always makes sure to give back whenever he can. The 35-year-old established a nonprofit organization, 87 and Running Foundation, which aims to “empower disadvantaged youth to achieve success by providing resources and support to their communities.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Kelce decided to dig deep into his pockets by committing to a substantial donation to “change lives.” According to a\u00a0press release\u00a0by Brea, California-based nonprofit Foster Love, Kelce recently purchased a new home in Kansas City for a whopping $3.3 million.<\/p>\n

The twist, however, is that the home is not for him. Kelce bought the house “with plans to transform it into a transitional living facility for homeless youth.”<\/p>\n

“The 6,500-square-foot home offers six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen, providing a comfortable environment for its young residents,” read the press release.<\/p>\n

“Outside, there are gardens, a patio, and a fire pit to help create a relaxing atmosphere. Inside, a game room and study area ensure there\u2019s plenty of space for fun and focus. This new home will offer more than just a place to stay\u2014it will be a place where youth can build their independence and focus on a brighter future.”<\/p>\n
