Before important UEFA Nations League games, the Real Madrid striker was passed over by his national team manager Didier Deschamps for the second consecutive international break. France will play Israel on Thursday and Italy in the next several days. Deschamps, who led Les Bleus to World Cup gold in 2018 and finished second in 2022, has adamantly defended his choice to leave out Mbappe.
