Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0will be\u00a0returning for a 13th NFL season<\/span>, and one of his teammates has claimed to be responsible for convincing him to keep playing.<\/p>\n

Kelce, 35, weighed up retirement following the Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles in the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/span>, in which he was largely anonymous with just four catches for 39 yards.<\/p>\n

He ultimately decided to come back for\u00a0Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City, and Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice has taken credit for that call.<\/p>\n

‘I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, I’m 95 percent of the reason he ain’t retiring,’ he told\u00a0REVOLT Sports.<\/p>\n

‘Told him he can’t go out like that. I’m gonna make sure we get that next year. He was finna hang it up. I’m pretty sure he was gonna hang it up. And I’m like, ‘Bro, we can’t go out like that.”<\/p>\n

While Rice is only 24, the Chiefs’ blowout 40-22 loss in Super Bowl LIX could have been the last game of Kelce’s career.<\/p>\n
