The Dallas Cowboys agreed to terms with edge rusher Dante Fowler, Jr. to a one-year, $8 million deal on Friday.<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0are bringing back Dante Fowler, Jr. who agreed to terms on a one-year, $6 million contract. Fowler could earn up to $8 million with play time incentives and accelerators.<\/p>\n

The move – predicted earlier this week by CowboysCountry.com’s Mike Fisher\u00a0– was first reported as a done deal by\u00a0NFL\u00a0Network’s Ian Rapoport on social media.<\/p>\n

The defensive end left the Cowboys in 2023, but will make his return in 2025.<\/p>\n

Fowler was the third overall pick in the first round of the 2015\u00a0NFL Draft\u00a0by the\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars. Fowler missed his rookie campaign due to a torn ACL he sustained in a spring practice session.<\/p>\n

He spent his first four seasons in the league with the Jaguars primarily as a pass rusher. He finished his four years with 14 total sacks.<\/p>\n

In addition to Jacksonville and the\u00a0Washington Commanders, where he played the last two seasons, Fowler also played for the\u00a0Atlanta Falcons\u00a0and the\u00a0Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n
