Dak Prescott didn’t play in the Cowboys’ 34-10 loss to the Texans on Sunday night, but the injured Dallas quarterback had an emotional reaction to his team’s blowout loss.<\/p>\n

Prescott last played on November 3 and will miss the rest of the year after undergoing season-ending surgery on his hamstring.<\/p>\n

And he was evidently extremely affected by the team’s latest defeat, telling the\u00a0Dallas Morning News\u00a0that he cried after his team fell to 3-7 on the year.<\/p>\n

‘The other day, after the game, I guess, it all just hit me,’ Prescott told Dallas Morning News.<\/p>\n

‘Boom, right. A\u00a0couple of tears came down. This is going to hurt. It’s going to suck at times. You just have to understand this is one of the moments that it does. I don’t want anything right now other than to let it suck.’<\/p>\n

Prescott is currently sidelined for the rest of the year after partially tearing his hamstring<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Prescott is currently sidelined with a\u00a0partially torn hamstring, which ended his\u00a0season after just eight games.<\/p>\n

He threw eight interceptions in as many games and saw his team lose three straight contests before his injury.<\/p>\n

‘Off the field, it’s been some of the most joyous times I ever could have imagined, dreamed of. Having a child, getting engaged, starting a family,’ he added.<\/p>\n

‘But then on the football field, it’s probably been as tough of a season as I’ve ever had. I’d probably say the toughest.’<\/p>\n

Prescott had a league-leading 36 touchdown passes last year along with 4,516 yards.<\/p>\n

But Dallas – after going 12-5 in the regular season – were stunned at home in the playoffs by the Packers and that negative momentum has carried into this season.<\/p>\n
