Brittany Mahomes<\/strong>, wife of\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong>\u00a0quarterback\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/strong>, took to social media on Thursday night to detail the harrowing experience of having to rush their infant son\u00a0Bronze\u00a0<\/strong>to the emergency room after discovering he has a food alergy.<\/p>\n

Bronze, who is about to be nine months old, is likely starting to try new foods. Finding out about allergies at that age is not uncommon. Brittany shared a photo to Instagram Stories explaining he is \u201chighly allergic to peanuts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe took a very scary and frantic trip to the ER yesterday after finding out this guy is highly, highly allergic to peanuts,\u201d Brittany wrote. \u201cThe scariest 30 minutes of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fortunately, everything went well, and baby Bronze is perfectly fine. Well, except for the fact that he\u2019s teething.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother tooth coming in, so he needed some extra snuggles tonight,\u201d Brittany wrote in a follow-up to the ER story.<\/p>\n

Bronze soon to turn 1<\/h2>\n

Bronze, whose full name is\u00a0Patrick Lavon Mahomes III<\/strong>, was born November 28, 2022 and is just a few month away from celebrating his first birthday.<\/p>\n

Brittany Mahomes teases Bronze to be even more adorable than Sterling<\/span><\/p>\n

His older sister,\u00a0Sterling Skye Mahomes<\/strong>, was born in February 2021 and is often the protagonist of Brittany\u2019s social media posts.<\/p>\n

The Mahomes family has been celebrating Patrick\u2019s second\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0<\/strong>win all offseason long and are now preparing for the upcoming\u00a0NFL\u00a0<\/strong>season.<\/p>\n

While Patrick isn\u2019t playing much during preseason, he is cheering on his backup quarterback and good friend,\u00a0Shane Buechele<\/strong>, who\u00a0emulated the Chiefs QB with an incredible play.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n
