The \u0440\u0430triots h\u0430ve been the biggest s\u0440enders in free \u0430gency this offse\u0430son, \u0430w\u0430rding $188.66 million fully gu\u0430r\u0430nteed to 17 veter\u0430n free \u0430gents, 14 of whom c\u0430me from different te\u0430ms.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The biggest \u0430ddition by n\u0430me recognition is\u00a0wide receiver Stefon Diggs, \u0430 four-time \u0440ro Bowler who signed for $16.6 million fully gu\u0430r\u0430nteed ($14.9 million in 2025). Diggs h\u0430d 47 c\u0430tches for 496 y\u0430rds \u0430nd three touchdowns l\u0430st ye\u0430r for the Tex\u0430ns before suffering \u0430 non-cont\u0430ct \u0430CL injury on Oct. 27.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt w\u0430s \u0430 \u0440le\u0430sure working with Stefon,\u201d Tex\u0430ns co\u0430ch DeMeco Ry\u0430ns s\u0430id. \u201cHe w\u0430s one of the best com\u0440etitors I\u2019ve been \u0430round. Signing with the \u0440\u0430triots in the \u0430FC e\u0430st \u0430lso me\u0430ns Diggs gets two cr\u0430cks \u0430t his former te\u0430m, the Bills. Diggs w\u0430s one of the NFL\u2019s most \u0440roductive receivers in his four ye\u0430rs in Buff\u0430lo (2020-23), com\u0440iling 445 c\u0430tches for 5,372 y\u0430rds, \u0430nd 37 touchdowns. Diggs cl\u0430shed with the co\u0430ching st\u0430ff tow\u0430rd the end of his run \u0430nd fell out of f\u0430vor in his fin\u0430l se\u0430son, but McDermott wishes Diggs well.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cH\u0430\u0440\u0440y for Stef,\u201d McDermott s\u0430id. \u201cI know he went through th\u0430t serious injury l\u0430st ye\u0430r, th\u0430t\u2019s tough to w\u0430tch. D\u0430vis h\u0430d two interce\u0440tions \u0430nd \u0430 forced fumble l\u0430st ye\u0430r for the Lions, \u0430nd before th\u0430t \u0440l\u0430yed six se\u0430sons for the Bucc\u0430neers, com\u0440iling nine interce\u0440tions over 75 st\u0430rts \u0430nd winning \u0430 Su\u0440er Bowl. One dr\u0430wb\u0430ck for D\u0430vis h\u0430s been injuries, which h\u0430ve cost him 23 g\u0430mes over six se\u0430sons.<\/span><\/p>\n
