P<\/a>atrick Mahomes\u2019 wife, Brittany Mahomes, updated fans with a candid video of their son, Bronze Mahomes, saying his \u201creal name.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a short and adorable clip, the 2-year-old proved just how charming he is with his playful response.<\/p>\n

In a post on Brittany Mahomes\u2019 Instagram Stories, Bronze Mahomes was sitting on his mother\u2019s lap as he answered the question about his name.<\/p>\n

\u201cBronzie,\u201d the little boy responded, saying his nickname.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the wife of the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0quarterback\u00a0went on to ask the young boy about his \u201creal name.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPatrick Mahomes Three,\u201d her son replied, flashing three tiny fingers, to which the proud mom said, \u201cNice job.\u201d<\/p>\n

The three-time\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0champion also shared the video, accompanied by three “OK” emojis, signaling his approval.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s only son was named after the Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Lavon Mahomes III.<\/p>\n

Per\u00a0People,\u00a0the\u00a0NFL\u00a0star wanted his children to have a lifelong and strong sibling bond, hence the nickname.<\/p>\n

As for the boy\u2019s real name, Patrick Mahomes said he had been dreaming of that name since he was little.<\/p>\n

“We wanted them to have that connection and them to be brother and sister forever and I’ve always wanted to do Patrick Lavon Mahomes III,\u201d he explained, adding, \u201cI’ve thought about that since I was really like five, six years old.\u201d<\/p>\n
