The Pittsburgh Steelers got their hands on one of the best pass rushers in NFL history when they took TJ Watt with the 30th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.\u00a0 his time in Pittsburgh has seen him earn seven pro bowls, four all-pro selections, and the 2021 NFL Defensive player of the year award.<\/p>\n
Pittsburgh Steelers\u2019 top priority in the offseason is finding a starting quarterback after Justin Fields and Russell Wilson were traded. However, their second priority may be slipping away.<\/p>\n

Fans are worried their best defensive pass rusher just said\u00a0goodbye\u00a0to the team:<\/p>\n
Star pass-rusher T.J. Watt, a seven-time Pro Bowler, four-time All-Pro, and the 201 Defensive Player of the Year, is entering the final year of his four-year, $112 million contract and looking for a lucrative new deal.<\/p>\n
There hasn\u2019t been much traction on Watt and the Steelers toward a new deal, which may have been behind his most recent Instagram story, in which he posted a photo of himself holding up a peace sign.<\/p>\n

While Watt\u2019s post may have nothing to do with his contract situation, that didn\u2019t stop Steelers fans from slightly freaking out about the future of their star defensive player.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s leaving\u2026 we\u2019re cooked,\u201d one fan wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a Steelers fan, January 6th would look like a child\u2019s party if the Steelers were to let him go. We would\u2019ve lost like 4-5 games early last season without TJ lmao,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf they don\u2019t give it to him they are absolute idiots,\u201d one user chimed in.<\/p>\n
