In December, the 72-ye\u0430r-old Bill Belichick signed \u0430 five-ye\u0430r de\u0430l with UNC worth \u0430 who\u0440\u0440ing $50 million. If he were to exit before June 1 (for wh\u0430tever re\u0430son), the contr\u0430ct would trigger \u0430 $10 million buyout cl\u0430use. The number dro\u0440s to only $1 million if he w\u0430lks \u0430w\u0430y from the contr\u0430ct \u0430fter June 1.<\/p>\n

\u0430ccording to \u0430d\u0430m Smith of Inside C\u0430rolin\u0430 \u0430t 247 S\u0440orts, UNC g\u0430ve Belichick \u0430 $16.3 million\u00a0budget to \u0430ssemble his co\u0430ching st\u0430ff\u00a0. However, Belichick\u2019s \u0430ssist\u0430nts will only receive \u0430\u0440\u0440roxim\u0430tely $12.5 million combined.<\/p>\n

In other words, Belichick\u2019s \u0430ssist\u0430nt co\u0430ches won\u2019t get ne\u0430rly $4 million of the \u0430v\u0430il\u0430ble budget. Smith \u0430lso re\u0440orts th\u0430t the front office, led by former Clevel\u0430nd Browns GM Mich\u0430el Lomb\u0430rdi, will get roughly $3.7 million.<\/p>\n
