We are just a few weeks away from the 2025 NFL Draft and Aaron Rodgers is still a free agent.\u00a0 His decision not to sign with a team, get used to their roster and coaching staff, and start learning the playbook has absolutely baffled fans.<\/p>\n

Now, his waiting has cost him one more opportunity.<\/p>\n

As Rodgers continues to drag his feet, he lost out on yet another\u00a0chance\u00a0to play in 2025:<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Cleveland Browns\u00a0and veteran quarterback\u00a0Joe Flacco\u00a0have reached agreement on a one-year, $4 million contract, his agent, Joe Linta, told ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter on Friday.<\/p>\n

The deal returns Flacco to Cleveland, where he won the NFL\u2019s Comeback Player of the Year award in 2023.<\/p>\n

The contract can be worth up to $13 million with incentives. The Browns also announced an agreement with Flacco on Friday without disclosing terms.<\/p>\n

Flacco also spoke with the\u00a0Pittsburgh Steelers\u00a0and\u00a0Minnesota Vikings\u00a0but opted to spend his 18th NFL season with the Browns. Co-owner Jimmy Haslam had told a group of local reporters at the NFL\u2019s annual meeting that Flacco remained an option for the team.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
