D<\/a>espite what happened in the playoffs of the 2024 NFL season, Baltimore Ravens star tight end Mark Andrews will go down as one of the greatest ever to don the franchise\u2019s colors. After all, he is the team\u2019s all-time leader in single-season receiving yards and single-season receptions. But could he end up being traded by the Ravens?<\/p>\n

Fox Sports NFL reporter Ralph Vacchiano\u00a0floated the name of Andrews as a player the Ravens could send elsewhere via a trade in this NFL offseason.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no doubt he\u2019s a favorite target of QB Lamar Jackson when he\u2019s healthy and playing well, but he\u2019s not the elite tight end he was four years ago. He\u2019s reliable, steady and a good red-zone target, but he\u2019s also about to turn 30 and will be a free agent next year. He still has value to contending teams. He could be expendable to the Ravens, though, because they may see more upside in 25-year-old tight end Isaiah Likely. They\u2019d have to commit to Likely, though, because he\u2019s scheduled to be a free agent in March, too.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As pointed out by Vacchiano, one factor behind a potential Andrews trade is the fact that he and Isaiah Likely are both expected to become free agents by the end of the 2025 NFL season. Baltimore might have to choose just to commit an extension to only a player between the two, and while Andrews can still be a productive player and the more dependable and consistent asset downfield, he\u2019s also about to turn 30 years old in September.<\/p>\n

<\/span>A three-time Pro Bowler, Andrews\u2019 trade value might not be higher than today when he\u2019s healthy and still under contract, albeit with a $16.9 million salary in the coming season.<\/p>\n

Last season, Andrews\u00a0recorded 673 receiving yards\u00a0and 11 touchdowns on 55 catches.<\/p>\n
