Micah Parsons’ involvement in the media – whether that be his social media trolling or his in-season podcast – is no surprise for any\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0or\u00a0NFL\u00a0fans.<\/p>\n

The star defensive end is one of many active athletes who have gotten involved in media during their playing career. Others across sports include Jason and\u00a0Travis Kelce,\u00a0LeBron James, Paul George and\u00a0Draymond Green\u00a0to name a few.<\/p>\n

Shannon Sharpe, the Hall of Fame tight end who has found a home on ESPN alongside\u00a0Stephen A. Smith, is in the game too.<\/p>\n

He is the host of the\u00a0Club Shay Shay<\/em>\u00a0podcast, which is rumored to be in line for a massive media contract because of the show’s success.<\/p>\n

According to Front Office Sports, Sharpe is expected to sign a new deal worth up to $100 million once his current contract with Colin Cowherd’s\u00a0The Volume<\/em>\u00a0network expires.<\/p>\n

Parsons – as he typically does – jumped to social media to offer a reaction and nudge to his critics who say he should focus on his work on the field.<\/p>\n
