Jason Kelce<\/strong>\u00a0couldn\u2019t resist poking fun at one of his brother\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/strong>\u2019s old tweets.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore we jump into it, we are going to talk a little bit about Easter weekend,\u201d Jason, 37, said at the top of his and Travis\u2019\u00a0\u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast on Wednesday, April 23. \u201cWe have potentially the greatest tweet ever tweeted on Easter day. This is the best thing ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jason was referencing one of Travis\u2019 tweets from April 2010, which read, \u201cHappy easter to all!!! #shoutout to Jesus for takin one for the team \u2026 haha.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, we don\u2019t give Jesus enough shout-outs for taking one for the team, if we\u2019re all being honest,\u201d Jason quipped during the podcast. While Travis, 35, called his tweet \u201cso f***ing dumb,\u201d he agreed that Jesus was the \u201cbest leader out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jason went on to joke that his \u201cfavorite part\u201d of the post was the \u201c\u2019haha\u2019 at the end.\u201d Travis clarified that he \u201cwanted to make sure everybody knew I was having a good time joking about this, but I couldn\u2019t take it too serious[ly].\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the religious aspects of the holiday, Travis said he also enjoyed having \u201cno school\u201d during the Easter season as a kid. \u201cWas that why this was tweeted?\u201d Jason asked, to which Travis replied, \u201cOf course.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cracking up, Jason added, \u201cI thought it was like a realization that this guy died for our sins. It was just about the free day. That\u2019s so good. That\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/span>Before wrapping up the discussion, Travis realized that he didn\u2019t get off school on Easter itself, as the holiday always takes place on a Sunday. Instead, he was actually thinking of Good Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cUsually you\u2019ll get an Easter Monday [off] sometimes,\u201d Jason noted. \u201cOur girls are off Easter Monday.\u201d (Jason shares\u00a0four daughters\u00a0\u2014 Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 4, Bennett, 2, and 1-month-old Finn \u2014 with his wife,\u00a0Kylie Kelce<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

The brothers didn\u2019t share how they celebrated Easter this year on the podcast. Their mother,\u00a0Donna Kelce<\/strong>, seemingly spent the holiday aboard Royal Caribbean\u2019s Symphony of the Seas cruise ship.<\/p>\n

\u201cDecided to take a trip on the elevator bar on the Symphony of the Seas during downtime!!\u201d she captioned a Tuesday, April 22,\u00a0Instagram video of one of the boat\u2019s crew members teaching guests a dance as the bar she was sitting at rose to a new floor of the ship.<\/p>\n

Wednesday\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d episode was not the first time Jason and Travis have dug up the latter\u2019s old social media posts on the podcast. Jason joked that his brother\u2019s tweets were\u00a0\u201cthe biggest news\u201d\u00a0of the week on a November 2023 episode, as many of Travis\u2019 past posts\u00a0went viral\u00a0after he\u00a0began dating\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u00a0a few months prior.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will say that I\u2019ve been trying to get all those tweets deleted,\u201d Travis said of his digital footprint at the time. \u201cLike, since I\u2019ve gotten to the [NFL], I\u2019ve been like, \u2018Gosh, I want all those things to get deleted.\u2019 And sure enough, it came surface level and everybody f***ing dove into 2011. What a f***ing year that was.\u201d<\/p>\n
