The Baltimore Ravens drafted a potential kicker of the future on Saturday, selecting Arizona’s\u00a0T<\/a>yler Loop\u00a0with the No. 186 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Loop pick comes as longtime Ravens kicker\u00a0Justin Tucker\u00a0is\u00a0currently under league investigation\u00a0after he was accused of improper conduct by 16 massage therapists from eight Baltimore-area spas between his 2012 rookie year through 2016. Tucker has\u00a0denied\u00a0any misconduct.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The five-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl selection is also coming off his worst season as a pro in which he recorded career lows in field goals made (22) and field goal percentage (73.3).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Loop made 18 of 23 field goal attempts, including a school-record 62-yarder, in 2024 for the Wildcats. His career 83.75% mark (67 of 80) on field goals set an Arizona program record and was good enough to make him the first kicker selected by the Ravens in franchise history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta told reporters following the draft on Saturday that he has not yet considered whether Loop’s selection would impact Tucker’s future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Right now, they’re both on the roster,” DeCosta said,\u00a0via The Athletic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
