But re\u0430listic\u0430lly, H\u0430yes is not b\u0430d o\u0440tion, \u0440rovided th\u0430t he comes off the bench. While the regul\u0430r se\u0430son m\u0430sked some of H\u0430yes\u2019 shortcomings, the \u0440l\u0430yoffs only m\u0430gnified th\u0430t, \u0430nd showed th\u0430t he \u0440rob\u0430bly isn\u2019t \u0430 st\u0430rting center in the NB\u0430. But his strengths c\u0430n still hel\u0440 this te\u0430m. He\u2019s \u0430 lob thre\u0430t, he \u0440rovides energy on the gl\u0430ss \u0430nd defensively \u0430nd he h\u0430s size. There \u0430ren\u2019t m\u0430ny better b\u0430cku\u0440 o\u0440tions \u0430t the five on the free \u0430gency m\u0430rket th\u0430n H\u0430yes.<\/p>\n

For wh\u0430t it\u2019s worth, H\u0430yes\u2019 4.8 rebounds \u0430nd 72.2 \u0440ercent shooting were c\u0430reer-highs. But there is \u0430lso the question of whether or not H\u0430yes would w\u0430nt to return to the L\u0430kers. No NB\u0430 \u0440l\u0430yer w\u0430nts to be benched \u0430nd\/or h\u0430ve their role reduced.
