Mikel Arteta\u00a0insisted that\u00a0Bukayo Saka\u2019s recent thigh injury was real, telling a reporter that the club can show his MRI scan, after the\u00a0Arsenal\u00a0star pulled out of England\u2019s\u00a0Nations League\u00a0squad two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Saka was pivotal in the Gunners\u2019 inspiring 3-0 win over\u00a0Nottingham Forest, scoring once and providing an assist to\u00a0Thomas Partey\u00a0for their second goal.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has now logged four goals and eight assists in 11\u00a0Premier League\u00a0games this season \u2013 only\u00a0Liverpool\u2019s\u00a0Mohamed Salah\u00a0has more goal contributions (14).<\/p>\n

Saka was substituted in the 81st minute during Arsenal\u2019s final game against\u00a0Chelsea\u00a0before the recent international break.<\/p>\n

It is still only November but the winger has already missed more games this season for club and country (nine) than he has done in three other campaigns in his career.<\/p>\n

Saka has a reputation for being physically robust \u2013 he has been one of the top 10 most fouled players in the Premier League for the last three seasons, yet has only\u00a0missed five games for Arsenal in this time.<\/p>\n
