The Dallas Cowboys are excited to get a healthy Dak Prescott back for the 2025 season.\u00a0 After suffering a season ending injury just eight games into the 2024 season, the 31-year-old quarterback has been training non-stop to get back on the field.<\/p>\n

However, he could be doing so with a surprise weapon that fans don\u2019t know too much about.<\/p>\n

Too often, we look for smoke where there is none when a player doesn\u2019t get selected in the NFL draft. There are times when picks are subjective to the person or team making them. However, Dallas\u00a0believes<\/a>\u00a0there is plenty of smoke around one UDFA they signed:<\/p>\n

\u00a0In the case of\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0undrafted free agent wide receiver\u00a0Traeshon Holden, the writing was on the wall ahead of the 2025 NFL draft and going 7 rounds without hearing a team call his name could be the motivating factor that propels his career forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was hurt,\u201d Holden told\u00a0DallasCowboys.com\u2019s Tommy Yarish. \u201cThat 24-hour rule, I was hurting. But now, I\u2019m here, and I\u2019m ready to make it happen. Holden spent the first 3 seasons of his college career playing at Alabama, where he won a College Football Playoff national championship a a freshman in 2020 and played in the CFP National Championship Game in 2022, where the Crimson Tide lost to Georgia.<\/p>\n

He transferred to\u00a0Oregon for his final 2 seasons, where he had a career high 462 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in just 8 games in 2024.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
