they were impressed by what the prospects showed during tryouts at rookie minicamp last week.<\/p>\n<p>First, Kansas City agreed to a contract with former Louisiana Tech wide receiver Jimmy Holiday, who racked up 913 yards and five touchdowns over the course of his five-year college career.<\/p>\n<p>Next, the Chiefs signed former Texas Christian University Horned Frogs linebacker Cooper McDonald, an experienced defender who tallied 137 combined tackles and eight sacks as a collegian.<\/p>\n<p>News of Kansas City&#8217;s decision to sign Holiday and McDonald was first reported by Matt Derrick
