Now, he\u2019s withdrawn it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-short-author-bio\">\n<div class=\"c-short-author-bio-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"c-short-author-bio__item\">\n<div class=\"copy\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimorebeatdown.com\/authors\/kyle-phoenix\" data-analytics-link=\":short-author-bio\">K<\/a>yle Phoenix\u00a0has been managing editor of Baltimore Beatdown since 2016 and a fully-credentialed Baltimore Ravens beat writer since 2022.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-entry-content \">\n<p id=\"hSwVmz\">According to\u00a0The Baltimore Sun\u2019s\u00a0Brian Wacker, former\u00a0Baltimore Ravens\u00a0linebacker Tyus Bowser has withdrawn his grievance against the team.<\/p>\n<p id=\"xVqgSE\">Bowser claimed the Ravens had misdiagnosed a knee injury which kept him off the field the for entire 2023 season. After being released in March 2024, Bowser filed the grievance which incurred a $1.8 million salary cap penalty against the team. Had he won the case, they\u2019d be penalized another $2.7 million. The withdrawal will now have the ravens receive a $1.8 million cap credit.<\/p>\n<p id=\"UT4s7s\">Prior to 2023, Bowser played the final nine games of the season in 2022 after recovering from a torn Achilles against the\u00a0Pittsburgh Steelers\u00a0in Week 18. He began with the Seahawks on the practice squad and was elevated to play in two games. Then, was claimed off the practice squad by the Dolphins and played in seven games.
